Farm and Ranch

The fertile valleys and high altitude grazing of Western Colorado, are well known for excellent crop production and grazing. The climate is mild and the growing season is long. In the valleys find alfalfa hay, corn, beans, and onions. The best fruit is raised in western Colorado where cherries, peaches and apples dominate. There are numerous award winning vineyards and wineries. Specialty crops too like hops, hemp and lavender. Cold fresh irrigation water from snowmelt is plentiful and reliable.

Distinctive Homes

The western Colorado counties of Delta, Montrose, Mesa and Gunnison are a great place to live. Scenic mountain ranges, National Parks and Monuments, huge national forests and public lands are everywhere. The lower valleys have moderate climate and the mountains are a short drive to scenic wonder and recreation. The towns are small and highways are un-congested.

Mountain Land

Colorado mountain land is prized for fresh air and water and sparse population. Wildlife flourishes as most of the land is public and protected from development. The snowy mountain ranges are the source of fresh water. Several vegetation zones give enjoyable diversity from 5,000 to 14,000 feet in elevation.
